We are excited to share this rare Full-Time opportunity; reporting to the Stones Sourcing Manager, the Stones Quality Assurance Assistant will help streamline production flow by assisting in the selection, sorting and matching of diamonds and coloured stones for the production orders between the Loose Stones Department and our Manufacturing Workshop.

The successful applicant will have a true passion for precious stones with impeccable attention to detail and exposure to diamond/coloured gemstone grading as you will be responsible for ensuring high level quality in adherence to minimum company standards through maintaining inventory management.

In this hands-on role, your primary responsibilities will be to:

• Quality control Diamonds for cut, colour, clarity and carat
• Check all incoming orders for alignment with minimum company standards
• Accurately match Diamonds to production orders, special orders and those for repairs
• Conduct routine stocktake ensuring records are accurate to-date
• Consolidate Diamond inventory for return to suppliers and ensure reconciliation of replacement/completion
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure Diamond quality and lead times are met
• Facilitate daily administrative duties to support the broader team including but not limited to security and accountability of packet contents, and stock write off’s

As the successful candidate you must have:

• Exposure to diamond/coloured stone grading
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and people skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Solid administrative skills
• Self-motivation and a strong work ethic
• Understanding of the industry and market needs
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; in particular Excel, Word and Teams
• Proficiency in ERP software and Power Bi desirable
