At Michael Hill Group, we're transforming our technology landscape and investing in platforms that power our global operations. We're looking for an experienced D365 Technical Architect to own the technical direction of our Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform and play a key role in shaping scalable, future-focused solutions across finance, supply chain and retail operations. Based in our Brisbane Support Centre, this is an opportunity to combine hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership while helping build internal capability and drive innovation.  

What You'll Be Doing 

As our D365 Technical Architect, you'll take ownership of the architecture, design and governance of our business-critical Dynamics 365 F&O environment. Working closely with technology and business stakeholders, you'll design scalable solutions, establish technical standards and ensure the platform continues to evolve to meet business needs. You'll lead architecture across finance, supply chain, retail and integration domains while driving platform modernisation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.  

You'll also play an important leadership role, mentoring others, strengthening internal capability, supporting best practice development standards and acting as the senior escalation point for complex technical challenges. This role will see you working across Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, integrations and emerging AI capabilities to enhance both user experience and platform performance, while collaborating with and influencing business stakeholders, colleagues across IT and external vendors. While you'll operate at a senior architectural level, this is very much a hands-on role - you'll be expected to actively contribute to triage, development, testing, build and deployment activities alongside the wider team. 

What We're Looking For 

We're seeking a collaborative and strategic technical leader with deep experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and enterprise-scale solution architecture. You'll bring strong expertise in D365 F&O development, integrations and Azure technologies, along with a passion for mentoring others and building high-performing engineering teams.  

You'll ideally possess: 

• Extensive experience in D365 F&O architecture and technical leadership. 
• Strong knowledge of X++, Azure Integration Services, APIs and CI/CD. 
• Experience designing enterprise-scale ERP solutions and integrations. 
• Exposure to AI solutions, automation frameworks and platform modernisation. 
• Relevant Microsoft certifications and a tertiary qualification in IT or a related field.
