Join our ever-growing Finance Team as the Senior Accounts Receivable Officer. Reporting to the Banking and Accounts Receivable Coordinator, this role will assist with overseeing the receivables function across global markets and support the transactional banking requirements within the organisation.
This fast-paced role will suit someone with a senior background, experienced within global markets, exchange rates and working with multiple entities. Providing expert advice to our retail stores and working cross functionally with other internal departments is also a key part of this new role.
Working from our state-of-the-art building based in Cannon Hill, we offer complimentary parking in addition to light open plan offices which encourages collaborative ideas and thinking.
In this role your Primary responsibilities will be:
Primarily responsible for the reconciliation of all receipts received from the various credit providers and marketplaces across our global retail business.
Prepare weekly and monthly general journals within the ERP system (Dynamics 365) to recognise sales receipts, fees and chargebacks from credit providers.
Review and action aged variances identified on our internally developed Debtor Dashboard.
Liaise with credit providers to ensure receipts are received in a timely manner.
Provide expert support to retail stores and other internal departments such as Retail Operations and Internal Audit team.
Continually review processes with the lens of process improvement.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
Previous experience with reconciliation of banking and/or credit provider receipts within the Retail industry (or similar fast-paced, high-volume industry).
Mentoring skills to assist with developing junior members of the Banking & Accounts Receivable team.
Highly developed written and oral skills.
Developed computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
