Brisbane | Senior Leadership Role

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the General Manager Finance will lead and integrate the Group's core finance functions across Australia, New Zealand and Canada, ensuring financial excellence, strong governance, and commercially focused decision support across the business, while driving transformation of the finance function.

This role has broad leadership accountability across:

• Group Financial Control including Financial Accounting, including Corporate, Reporting, Retail and Project Finance functions
• Shared Services (Banking, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable)
• Taxation
• Performance Analysis, Planning & Commercial Insights

As a key member of the finance leadership team, you will partner closely with the CFO and executive stakeholders to drive strategic outcomes, strengthen financial performance, optimise business processes, and support sustainable growth across the Group, while transforming the finance function.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide Senior leadership across the Group's finance function, ensuring alignment, capability, and performance across multiple specialist teams
• Lead financial governance, statutory reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls across all jurisdictions
• Oversee Shared Services functions, including banking, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and process optimisation initiatives
• Partner with finance leaders across Corporate, Reporting, Retail, and Project Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting and business support
• Oversee the Group's taxation function, ensuring compliance and effective management of international tax obligations
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and performance analysis activities to support strategic decision-making
• Deliver commercial insights and financial modelling to support investment decisions, growth initiatives, and capital allocation
• Drive finance transformation, systems enhancement, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Build and develop a high-performing finance leadership team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence

What We're Looking For

• CPA, CMA or equivalent finance qualification, supported by postgraduate studies in Finance, Business or a related discipline
• Extensive senior finance leadership experience within a mid-to-large public company environment
• Strong experience across financial control, statutory reporting, taxation, governance, and financial planning & analysis
• Demonstrated success leading multiple finance disciplines and high-performing teams
• Experience within retail, multi-site, inventory-based, or similarly complex operational environments
• Advanced commercial acumen, financial modelling, stakeholder management, and strategic planning capability
• A collaborative and influential leadership style, with the ability to build credibility at executive and board level
