We’re seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to lead financial accounting and shared services across Australia, New Zealand and Canada, partnering closely with the CFO and Executive team.
This is a high‑impact role with strong Board and Audit Committee exposure, responsibility for ASX reporting, and the opportunity to drive finance transformation and operational excellence across the Group.
The Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will own end‑to‑end core finance processes, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, statutory compliance and robust internal controls across all regions. You’ll lead a high‑performing finance and shared services function and work closely with Tax, Treasury and Investor Relations.

What You'll Do:
- Oversee shared services operations across banking, AP and AR, ensuring strong governance and controls.
- Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including group consolidations.
- Ensure compliance with AIFRS and local statutory requirements across AU, NZ and Canada.
- Own ASX statutory reporting, including annual and half‑year accounts, continuous disclosure and shareholder communications
- Act as primary contact for external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
- Prepare and present papers to the Board and Audit Committee
- Drive finance transformation, systems improvement and process automation.
What You'll Bring:
- 10+ years’ senior finance experience in a mid‑to‑large ASX‑listed or public company.
- Deep expertise in financial accounting, compliance and statutory reporting.
- Proven experience delivering ASX reporting and Board / Audit & Risk Committee packs.
- Strong people leadership skills with a track record of building and developing high‑performing teams.
- Confident, influential communicator with executive and board‑level presence.
Qualifications
- CPA or CMA qualified (essential).
- Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Business or similar (desirable).
