Permanent Full-Time | Cannon Hill | On-Site Parking | WFH Options

Michael Hill is a purpose led, iconic retail brand with a growing footprint across Australia, New Zealand and beyond. We’re now looking for an experienced Group Property Manager to lead the delivery and evolution of our physical retail and corporate spaces.

Reporting to the CFO, you'll manage facilities maintenance through a mix of hands-on repairs and vendor coordination to ensure stores remain safe, clean, and fully operational, balancing planned maintenance with reactive repairs while managing budgets and driving cost efficiencies.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the delivery of new store openings, refits, relocations, and capital works across multiple brands.
  • Own projects end-to-end—from site assessment and design through to approvals, construction, handover, and defects management.
  • Partner with Finance, Retail, landlords and external contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to brand.
  • Provide input into leasing matters, capital forecasts and design standards.
  • Build strong governance, compliance and reporting frameworks for Exec and Board.
  • Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing Property team.

What you’ll bring:

  • 10+ years’ experience in retail construction or property, ideally in a multi-site environment.
  • Proven success managing complex projects, budgets, and contractors.
  • Strong commercial acumen and confidence influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of retail leasing, WH&S and legislative compliance.
  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to coach and develop others.

Why Join Us?

  • Flexibility: Hybrid working with WFH and state of the art offices with free onsite parking.
  • Impact: Lead critical store developments and shape the future of Michael Hill’s retail footprint.
  • Brand: Be part of a global business with bold plans and a brilliant future.
  • Perks: Discounts across our stunning product range & access to our exclusive rewards platform providing discounts and cashback with multiple retailers. Free access to our Employee Assistance Program.
  • Culture: Collaborative, value-led environment with strong executive support and high-performing teams.

Ready to take the next step?

If you’re ready to play a key role in shaping the future of Michael Hill’s store network and physical environments, we’d love to hear from you!
