This is an entry level opportunity ideal for someone with a customer service and administration background who is looking to step into the Return to Work (RtW) or Work Health & Safety (WHS) space. You don’t need previous RtW or WHS experience - just strong organisation skills, confidence dealing with customers, and a proactive, detail focused approach.

About the Role

As a junior Return to Work and WHS Coordinator, you’ll support our RtW and WHS processes through high-quality administrative and customer support. This is a fantastic opportunity to build foundational knowledge in occupational health, injury management, and workplace safety while leveraging your existing customer service skillset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clear, professional, and empathetic customer service in sometimes sensitive situations.
  • Coordinate and maintain accurate documentation and records related to RtW and WHS activities.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and follow-ups.
  • Support the team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and internal documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and confidentiality requirements.
  • Liaise with internal teams, external providers, and stakeholders as required.

About You

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • A strong background in customer service, administration, or office support.
  • A genuine interest in learning about Work Health & Safety or Return to Work practices.
  • Excellent phone manner and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confidence handling confidential information.
  • A calm, empathetic approach when dealing with customers or employees.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
